Happy Momma's Day!
Happy Momma's Day to everyone! Hope you have a great one. I usually like to spend the day planting flowers with my mom, but it is too early this year to plant and it is pouring buckets. So, instead, I got to go to Ikea and pick up the last bit of stuff for my reorganizing. I guess that comes in a close second. :) I am going to do some scrapbooking, too. Seeing this stuff on your desk is a good thing...
Supplies (hee):
Starbucks Peppermint Mocha
Fiskars super-sharp scissors
Colorbox Chalk Ink (the best)
New stamp from Hero Arts coming soon...
I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway to celebrate the day. And since every momma deserves flowers, I am doing a giveaway with lots of flowery-kind-of stuff. RAK includes lots of fancy Prima flowers, Autumn Leaves ribbon, epoxy stickers and clear stamps, American Crafts flowers, flower felt and some cute stickers from Tinkering Inks' new Al Fresco line (which I LOVE the colors of)...
Just leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEDT today telling me what fun things you have planned today and I will pick a winner.
Oh! And the first person to post (and email me) a link on the last thread was Michelle. Thanks, girl! I will send you some treats, my friend. You are always so helpful. HERE is the link the the clear stamp article form last year.
Have a great day!

Rainy here too! My husband made me breakfast and we all sat on the couch and watched Enchanted. Now they are dropping me off to do a bit of shopping by myself while they go visit my husband's mother and then they are taking me out to lunch. I will hopefully come home and do a bit of scrapping and then we want to watch the Bee movie together. My husband will make me dinner (pork tenderloin yummy) Just a wonderful day spent with my husband and kids!Oh and they gave me the best homemade cards and pictures - so cute! Hope you have a great day too!

*Sigh* I don't really anything FUN planned for today. (I hope I'm still eligible.) I have a yucky cold and am home with the 2 youngest while my hubby took the 2 oldest to church with him this morning. I guess a *little* peace and quiet is a FUN thing... and hopefully a nap this afternoon while the twins nap. Trying to look on the bright side
Took the kiddies to visit my Mom an hour away yesterday (and gave her some of those BIG card-sized Hero Arts background stamps from our local stamp store). You enabler!... She likes... :)
Anyways, Happy Mother's Day to you! Hope you're fully recovered from last weekend.

Hi. My day is just beginning. My DH and 3 kids made me breakfast; strawberry pancakes, bacon and Starbucks skinny caramel latte. The perfect way to start the day. Now I have some quiet time to surf the web, scrapbook and catch up on some online classes. It was my son's birthday yesterday so there are a lot of new toys to play with and a lot to clean up. Just enjoying being home with my family and feeling grateful for all that I am blessed with. Hope your day is special.

Happy Mother's Day!
Today will be a "no-cook" day for me! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be taken care of by the kids and that is a treat-believe me!
We are going out later for some fun family pic taking and maybe sneak in a movie later.
Have a wonderful day all you Mommies!

I am still in my jammies and it's 10 am (my fave way to start the day!- slow!!!)...
Our tradition to go plant shopping, then to lunch - Mexican food with Margaritas, then back home for a long nap, then some play time with ink and paper. My family treats me good!!
I think we will actually 'get to' go - my dd is getting over two ear infections..
Since we live at 3,500 feet the plants live in the garage for a while!!
Well, Husband is calling wanting to know where we are! Gotta go!!

I am so excited that you have a blog - I love your work! This is a great RAK too!
I'm hanging out with my little guy Owen today, then when my husband gets off work we'll be going to my MIL's house to meet up with his side of the family (I spent yesterday with my side...). Lots of yummy food and laughing. Then we'll get home, put Owen to bed, and I get the mother's day gifts he's been teasing me with all week. For every holiday he wraps my presents and sets them around the fireplace, so I'm tempted to sneak a peak for at least a week.
Happy Mother's day to you and all the other Mommas as well!

I am in England and our Momma's Day was way back in March! Today however it was a beautiful sunny day (it's suppertime now!)and we have been eating ice-pops in the garden and I even managed to sneak in a bit of scrapping when my little one was having a nap and my hubby was watching the Grand Prix :) Happy Momma's Day to all you US girls!

My morning started with Starbucks and the paper. Then off to a breakfast with my family. We went to church, and went to visit Mother-in-law for Mother's day. It is rainy and yucky here, I plan to spend the rest of my day making cards and scrapbooking! Happy Mother's Day-

Happy Mother's Day, Jennifer! I hope your day is full of all things wonderful. :)
I have no idea what's on the agenda for today... my kids (and hubby) wanted to plan the day for me, so I happily left that to them. :) So far, I've had a fabulous breakfast of cheerios and apple juice, ;) followed by handmade greeting cards and gifts. My eldest son made the prettiest votive - circular punches of colored tissue paper, glued to the outside of a small glass. When you light the tealight inside, it flickers all these beautiful spheres on the wall! I love it. :)

You are so generous with all of your fun goodies! Today for Mother's Day I went to church with my family, plan to take a nap later and then enjoy a nice supper at a fav. restaurant with my Momma and my family. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Jennifer! you are so sweet to do this. Enjoy your day as well. Its raining buckets here today as well in Chicago...which is fine with me cause its a good day to sleep in and stay in your PJ's and hang out at home with my Starbucks, kiddies, and scrapbooking!
Got a 50% off coupon for Michaels today in the Sunday Parade Magazine...don't know if you saw it yet. So I think I'm going to get those scissors or as my 5 year old calls them, "Zizzors". Have a great day Jennifer. Love visiting your blog, makes me happy:)

It's raining buckets here too so we are having an inside day. Tonight we will go out for dinner after all the rush is past. My DD couldn't wait to give me my present so I got that Friday. My DH always has some sort of surprise and as of now it still is a surprise! Happy Mothers Day.

Hmmm
Today I am planning on hanging out with my sweet husband and furrbaby, Sadie. I think I'm going to do some organizing and cleaning of the studio.... It's on the chopping block for a revamp... paint, new custom storage, etc. I might even make a project or two...
Happy Mother's Day

I'm so excited--I'm going to see a copy of the Declaration of Independence that is on display at the History Center in Minneapolis. I have no clue when I'll ever get to DC, so I have to jump at the chance to see it right here in MN!

Happy Mother's Day Jennifer!! I have nothing exciting planned for today except to do a little more organizing in my studio. Just picked up some really nice paper bins on clearance that will work great! I got breakfast served in bed by dh and two daughters. Went to the cemetary to do some flowers for my mom and aunt and am now sitting here while dh is doing the vaccuuming. Gotta love that!!! He only does this stuff once a year and I am not complaining. Tonight, he is grilling steaks and potatos for supper and I can just relax, enjoy life and create some art if I want! I hope this is enough of excitement to qualify for your drawing. The prize looks fab!! Thanks!!

Hi Jennifer,
Happy Mother's Day. We started the day with church and Sunday school. My husband treated me to a homemade brunch afterwards. Today is low-key at home. My husband is going to install a new external hard-drive and a wireless hub for my printer and the hard-drive. My computer has reached it's storage limit--it was a very well-needed gift!

First of all Happy Mother's Day to you too!! We have already celebrated here. I live in Cairo, Egypt. (Hubby works for the embassey) Since Egypt is a Muslim country the embassey follows their work schdule so he works Sunday through Thursday. So he had to work today and my 3.5 son went to school, but hubby came home early and we went to the pool to swim. My 8m daughter "swam" for the first time and loved it. Other than a relaxing afternoon, it was just anohter ordianry day here in sunny land. Oh I got the box set of Friends. So there you have it a great Mother's Day. And as luck has it hubby leaves for the states here in a few hours. But I have my shopping list ready for him!!

Happy Mother's Day to you too, Jennifer!!!!! Same rain as you, so no planting here either. The kids and DH took me out to brunch (yummmmm!!), and gave me a fun new toy to play with - a Kindle from Amazon!!! And right now I am sitting at my desk, trying to decide what kind of card to make. A day of relaxation with no work for me!!!

Hi! I plan to take a NAP - since we were at a cub scout sleepover at the Pawtucket Red Sox last night and I.AM.EXAUSTED! (and so is everyone else here....so we're all grouchy.) Not my idea of Mother's Day, sadly. But it was the mother in me that agreed to the whole sleepover as a family thing - i thought it would be a nice family thing. I was temporarily insane.

My best activity of the day, was my DH and DS putting away all leftover yard sale boxes back up in the attic!
We will meet all the other moms in the family at supper tonight, and I am glad my own mom was able to be here from out of state.
Also, we are getting ready to induct DS into the National Beta Club tomorrow, so that's an extra sweet benefit for me this year!
Happy Mother's Day to all!

We went out to a yummy breakfast and then did some shopping for baby #2 due very soon. Later today my mom is going to babysit so that my husband and I can enjoy a movie date as it will probably be the last one we see for awhile. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day! I was woken up with breakfast in bed from my 3 year old. Her 15 month old sister was up on the bed too and immediately snagged the bagel off my tray. It was a very chaotic and quick breakfast but I loved it. My hubby gave me concert tickets and the kids gave me a necklace (made at preschool) and the sweetest card! We are planning a walk thru the zoo later. Happy organizing!

My kids gave me cards and scarpbook supplies. We went to the mall and we'll BBQ tonight. Nothing too exciting, but we're together and that's what counts for me.
Happy Mother's Day to you too!

I can't believe how fast time has gone and I am celebrating with a 10 and 8 year old. So far I have spent the day hanging out with them and now have just returned home from our favorite family activity - the movies! This is a special time for me as I have just returned home from the other side of the country visiting the 3 best moms I know, and now have the chance to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day Jennifer.:)
It is a busy one here. First thing this morning I baked a lemon meringue pie then went to mass with my mother, dropped her off at her place, and raced over to my church for service there. Came home and made a trifle (looks yummy - hope it tastes as good:). Talked with our youngest daughter who lives in Ohio for awhile and got up-to-date news on our newest grandson. We are going to our daughter's for dinner - DSIL is grilling (in the rain) salmon for us. A very happy day indeed.:)

Happy Mom's Day Jennifer. As you know it's raining buckets and cold in Cinci today. I wanted to take my granddaughter to the zoo today to see the Zoo Babies - but we ended up at the mall instead. It's ok with her - she's a typical girl ----- LOVES the mall.
I better watch out - she's only 4 yrs old. YIKES. I hope your day was a good one. :-)

Happy Mother's Day!
I have been spending the day at the park with my girls. I have been sick with a cold and so I took a ton of medicine because this trip meant so much to me. We had a picnic which the girls loved. Then tonight, my DH is grilling out and then we will spend a relaxing night watching movies.
