Video (again) and a giveaway (again)
Hi!
Quick post tonight - I have a bad allergy headache. Wowsers.
First, we have two winners of the Jolees goodies: Stacy M and Tanya. I will email you both.
Oh, I must mention before i forget. Want to see an amazing layout? Click HERE. Wow! Robyn is incredible.
Next, I have a video over on 2peas. It shows how I used the new die cutting machine, the Slice (from Making Memories) to create a paper ornament. If you are curious about the Slice, it shows it in use. If you don't have one, you can also watch it to learn how to create a paper ornament, but you could instead use punched shapes or other die cuts. :) Click HERE for all the info on the project.
So, the giveaway I have today happens to be one of my favorite BasicGrey stamp sets. Why I am giving it away? I accidently bought two. Der. :) But my ditziness is your gain. Hee. Just leave a comment on this post by 11:59pmEDT on Sunday telling me your most common used thing for letters (stickers, chipboard, die cut, rub-on, stamps, etc). I will pick a winner of this great BasicGrey stamp set...
OK... off to lay down. Night! :)
Love to use Thickers! That is my new favorite thing for letters.

Mostly I use sticker letters but I'm getting more into stamping!
Posted by: Emily | November 07, 2008 at 09:28 PM
My most common is probably my hand writing but now I am stating to use rub-ons and rubber stamps. Know my cards look professionally done.

I'm loving AC Thickers! Lots of fun designs. I also use my die cutting machine for alphas sometimes and top them off with dimensional glaze to add a puffy look to them. :)

I love the SLICE, I so want one!! Beautiful tree decor!

When it comes to letters I am all about the QuicKutz. Love my fonts!! I do rock the chipboard now and then though!

Yikes. sorry about the headache - my husband and 16 month old suffer terrible allergy issues.
I heart thickers of all types - but esp. vinyl and felt!

I can't resist Thickers either... :) But I do love my stamps.. It would be a hard choice, glad I never have to choose!
Posted by: Lulu | November 07, 2008 at 09:55 PM
Chipboard letters are always my first choice. If I don't have what I need (want), I go to my QuicKutz.

I have just recently become a big fan of American Crafts' Thickers.

Cute ornament!!! Thanks for the video! I would love to say I'm putting my diecut machine and alphas to good use but I'd be lying. I tend to use my alphabet stickers the most - so quick and easy.

feel better soon, OK? I use stamps the most but next most popular is rub ons
Posted by: rebecca Ednie | November 07, 2008 at 10:09 PM
I think I have been using stickers the most recently. Maybe because I keep buying so many. Hmmm... Love your star!
Posted by: Wendy Lust | November 07, 2008 at 10:09 PM
I seem to be using a lot of stamps lately...even some foam ones (from Making Memories) with acrylic paint.

I like to use American Crafts thickers and sometimes I like to write.
Thanks for the chance!

I use the Cricut a lot for letters and then also stickers.
Posted by: Marty | November 07, 2008 at 10:29 PM
I love chipboard! It is really versatile- paint, rubons, pattern paper, etc! Then I have to reach for my Cricut.
Posted by: mama22boys | November 07, 2008 at 10:30 PM
die cuts or foam stamps w/ paint... hope your headache goes away soon - i hate those!!
Posted by: Julie | November 07, 2008 at 10:33 PM
it's a toss-up between stickers and stamps. i used it for titles and journaling.:)
Posted by: jeanie | November 07, 2008 at 10:37 PM

For cards, I usually use stamps (or my own handwriting!). For scrapbooking I mostly use stamps and stickers. I love how different fonts add to the feel of your card or page.

Jennifer
I use die cut letter, I cut three of each letter and glue one onto the other. Stacking them three high like thin chipboard.
Thanks for the chance to win this stamp. I just love it!!!

I'm going to say letter stickers ... but in reality, 90% of the time I use Thickers. LOVE THEM!
Posted by: jen | November 07, 2008 at 10:48 PM
Love to use stamps for my letters but I am also venturing out and trying to use handwritten more and more.
Posted by: Rhonda P | November 07, 2008 at 10:50 PM
Tough question about the letters. I really like chipboard and foam ones lately - just a nice touch of dimension/texture on a page. And lately, I've really been into the MM tiny letters - I think Carolee's carries a similar small sticker letter - w/ one small rectangle for each letter, so useful for those long titles and little comments you can add to your LO!
Posted by: Cynthia B. | November 07, 2008 at 10:51 PM
I am a stamper, definitely. Love the reausability of them and the versatile color options.

I tend to use stamps mostly but rub-ons too. Thanks for the video. I'd been waiting for the slice to be released and I'm watching the buzz on it. It looks very cool...I'm sure I'll be buying one in the near future.
