I had such fun doing the owls. :)
OK... time for a giveaway. Leave a comment on this post by Wednesday at 11:59pmEDT and I will pick a winner of these great goodies from American Crafts. In your comment, I would love to hear about the last crafty project you made. (Card? Page? Etc.) Forgive the bad photo.
Me? The last projects I worked on are class projects for CHA. Nothing like the last minute, huh?
Night night.
Woohoo, I love giveaways! I just finished making a card to match a prettily packaged body lotion for my sister-in-law; we're celebrating 5 birthdays this weekend up in the White Mountains and I found a bunch of little gifts so I'm making matching cards for each. Fun! I hope have them posted on Splitcoast before I leave! Thanks for all your inspiration!

I just finished a beautiful thank you card for my son and adughter-in-law - it is color coordinated with their wedding invitation and the card I made for their wedding. I used the beauitful Hero Arts butterfly stamp and embossed it with gold for the finishing touch. You were right, everybody does need that butterfly stamp:-)

I just finished a page of my 2 granddaughters - ages 4 and 6. They are playing with my purses and old cell phones. They were "stylin".
I love your Ink Videos. I have bought some of the supplies and when my daughter comes to visit the first week of August, we are going to try your techniques.

I just finished an 8x8 album of a three day trip to NYC that my husband and I just took in June. Its our 10th anniversary and we are expecting our 4th child in September so we had to get the trip in before he comes along. It was so fun and i'm so glad i got the journaling done while i still remember all the details.

I'm just about finished making baby tags (40--20 pink and 20 blue, for twins) for the hospital/1st week home. Mom will have visitors jot something on a tag, take a picture of the baby with the visitor and have an instant scrapbook page done, journaling and all. I hope the mom-to-be loves it.

Thanks for the chance to win a give away!!
My latest crafty endeavor - my daughter is about to turn 4 (I can hardly believe it!) and we are having a cupcake themed party. So, I have been die-cutting out very large cupcakes (with a Cricut) and decorating them to use as decorations to hang up as well as put on stakes and put in the walkway up to our house as part of the theme. She helped me to glue them together. They are quite cute!
Thanks again!

I took a 16x20 canvas, drybrushed it with purple and turquoise paint, then used Mod Podge to adhere purple, turquoise and brown ovals and circles to make a dragonfly. After that, I printed out a quote from Creativity Prompt on cardstock, cut it into strips and adhered them on the canvas.

Thanks for all the Thinking Inking videos! I am making a list of distress and alcohol ink colors to get now! The latest thing I've done were three wedding cards (each couple got the same card design - they don't know each other thankfully!). I haven't been to any weddings in years and now - bam - three in the span of 4 months!

Greetings from the Lone Star State! I just recently came across you website via Two Peas in a Bucket...and I'm SO glad I did! I'm super into card making lately...have made about 40 in the past couple of weeks and am loving giving them out as gift sets. They're nothing compared to what I've seen on your site - but what an inspiration you are nonetheless!

Hey~ I am working on a 12x12 book from a cruise that we took in June to the Bahamas. I just started using the Distress inks that you have shown in your videos. I have added the blue, red and 2 different of the browns. I have been using the office tags and doing the resist on them and also embossing some buttons. I also got the sponge tool that you use and I love it. I bought just plain white flowers from the floral dept. and have been chaging the color with the distress ink and stamping on them. I had a hard time finding the clear buttons but found some small ones at WalMart...no luck on the large one yet. Thanks for all the videos....I love them all and have watched them several times. Thanks so Much !!

Owls are adorable! So cute! The project I am currently working on is an acrylic album. I have had this album for a year but, so scared to start it and make a mistake. I must admit that I am loving putting this album together, it is liking putting together a puzzle and making sure everything goes before glueing anything down. I am glad I took the leap!! Thanks for the giveaway!

I am taking a fantastic online art journaling class by dina wakley that is keeping me busy with gesso, acrylics, and collage. Your Thinking Inking class inspired me to make several thank you cards, so between the paints, the distress inks and the embossing powder, my living room has officially turned into a craft space! JOY!!

Thank you for the tip about tapping your paper to level out the stickle dots. I don't like that they have that swirl like ice cream.
I'm working on a little 2x2 album for my purse to help remind me to stay on the healthy track.

Love distress stickles too!!! Need to get mine out again! Well, the last thing I did was an enevelope card yesterday for my mum. It's to celebrate a New Beginning since she is finally starting to recover and trying to settle with a new way of life, after a nasty eye infection which made her loose much of her vision. It was a lovely card to make!

Love your card! That owl is too cute!! I am happy to say that I have had a scrappy couple of days - a couple of layouts, a mini album and a guest book for a friend's wedding. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!! :)

Hi Jennifer!
The last thing I made was a "friend" card. I used your flower-inking idea with the alcohol inks. It turned out great! I used two flowers. One folded in 4ths, placed inside the other one folded in half. Love that look! Instead of inking a metal butterfly, I inked a metal letter "F" for friend. Thanks so much for ALL your awesome ideas and tips!

I have been on a cropping roll lately! In the past two days I have completed six 2 page layouts complete with titles and journaling (my least favorite parts!) Thanks for the chance to win :)
