Teacher card set...

Hello!

Well, this year I made about 110 cards to give to teachers.  Each teacher received between 8 and 20 cards in a set - all personalized with their name.  I think this is a great way to show appreciation.  And, the head teachers each got a gift certificate to the farmer's market.

So, this was one set for one of the teachers - Colin's favorite teacher.  She is incredible to say the least.  I used some fun stamps from a new company called Lawn Fawn.  Not only do I like their stamps, but they are made in the US (great quality and stamp wonderfully) and the owner is super sweet.  (You know how that stuff means a lot to me.)  So, you will be seeing me use their stamps often.  For details on how I made these, read below...

I think there were 10 in this set - all different colors but the same basic design.

Glossy Accents adds great shine to this simple card.  So cool in real life...

And I put them in a clear box and wrapped them with a ribbon...

Supplies: Lawn Fawn stamps; Copic Markers; Memory Box notecards; Glossy Accents; Quickutz cork paper; Corner Chomper; Cuttlebug embossing folder; American Typewriter font; Neenah paper

To make these, I printed out "a note from Ms. Noran" a bunch of times on a piece of Neenah white cardstock.  I inked just the top of the Lawn Fawn typewriter image to make the paper around it.  I then stamped the top of it again for the bottom of the paper.  I stamped the pins separately, colored them with Copics and cut them out.  I put these on a piece of cork paper and added Glossy Accents to the pins for shine.  So simple, fun to make and personalized perfectly for a teacher. :)  Here is the set I used...

I will share the other teacher card sets soon.  Off to work on Cards for Kids stuff.  Night!  (If you know of a child you would like to add, now is the time to let me know.  Thanks!  And prizes will be announced soon.)

These are fabulous. And 110, oh my! The teachers will love them. I agree that the Lawn Fawn stamps are wonderful!

Lovely design, so clever & thoughtful. I totally admire your patience in making 110 of them - I get distracted after making 5 cards the same & have to start something new!! Thanks for sharing.

I'm a teacher and I am very jealous of Colin's teacher. Too stinkin' cute. Thanks for sharing. Never heard of Lawn Fawn before, thanks for a bit of enabling before I hit the hay.

So colorful and practical! Love that cork paper and glossy tack--makes the cards even more special!

Too bad I'm not a teacher of one of your kids. These are great!

Can I be your kid's teacher? As a teacher myself, I give you an A++!

Love your cards as always. On the Cards for kids i am trying to make some and noticed that the page for Sami doesnt have her family info on it for siblings etc. Just thought i'd let you know.

What a darling card idea! Sure wish I was one of Colin's teachers. It's wonderful that you acknowledge them with such awesome and practical gifts. Speaking as a former teacher, I always enjoyed home made items.
