How-To Video: Using the Quickutz Revolution (and a lot more...)
Good evening.
Quick note before the video: I have a new email address. It is over there on the sidebar. So if any of you have me saved in your addy book, please swap it out. Thanks! (I love Mac's MobileMe!)
I have a great link for you. Check out THIS Color Challenge Blog. It is a fabulous blog with fabulous inspiration. I am one of those that isn't really good with color. It is one of my biggest challenges. So, finding a site like this is good for me. Lots of good ideas! I was happy to create a project for them this week, and I have the video for it here.
This video shows a lot of fun things to do with the Quickutz Revolution. I love this baby. He sits proudly next to my Cuttlebug. They make a sweet couple. :) There are several other tips, including using thin scraps and masking. Enjoy...
Supplies:
Quickutz Revolution and Circle Dies
Scrap patterned paper (that green Scenic Route is my favorite)
Hero Arts gems
American Crafts letter stickers
Fiskars star punch
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Ranger Inking Tool
A boy with many cheeseball expressions
Let me know if you have questions. Have a good night...
Jennifer
These are so cool looking. I see something to add to the Christmas stocking...LOL Love how you used your scraps to make a great looking layout. I am heading on over to the color blog and check them out for ideas. Thanks for sharing these great tips.

I love MobileMe too. And I'm sure I will love it even more when I get my hands on an iPhone.
Looking forward to viewing your video on the Revolution. I could use some creative inspiration as my Revolution has been sitting on a shelf all by it's lonesome self for some time now.

Love this and TFS. I am just noticing how you did a thin white photo mat behind each photo. It made all the difference in the world.

Super cute!
I am also another 'no die cut machine' owner!
I keep waiting for an all in one unit that can use all the dies, emboss, etc...

Great layout. I love the colors you used and that die cut machine is handy dandy. Especially for cutting out all those different size circles at once. I really love all those fantastic faces Colin is making..too cute!

I love the video Jennifer. Thanks for all the great ideas. I was going to ask for a Cuttlebug for Christmas from my husband, but now, I'm wondering if I should ask for the revolution! :) Btw, your little boy is too cute! And I know cute because I have 19 nieces and nephews (and one on the way) and they're all adorable! teehee....

Such an adorable LO, Jen! Thanks for another great video. I agree that the stars were the perfect touch... they give some nice angles to the LO. :)
I have a quick questions for ya: How did you get such nice, even (white) mats on those photos? Was that one of the QK dies that you used for those?
Thanks (as always) for sharing! :)

Love this LO and how you used the scraps and made cute circles with them! I have the QKs circle and scallop circle dies and use them with my CB. Never thought of using them to make round photos!! Love that idea!
Love using the negative space and inking them to make the circles! TFS!!
