Happy Monday & a Giveaway

Hi!  Hope you had a good weekend.  Mine was heavenly.  I love stamping retreats... especially with the best of friends and most incredible women I know.  I feel so happy - and therefore have a fun giveaway today. :)

First, I gotta start by linking you to the Hero Arts Blog.  Leslie Lightfoot is gonna rock it with color combos this week.  She has a giveaway... go check it out HERE.

And another link for ya: Nichol is doing an AMAZING Christmas journal.  Incredible. You can see it HERE.

So, you know how I always share cards inspired by my dear friend, Shari Carroll?  Here is another.  Totally inspired by her owl cards found HERE and HERE.  I just love this little guy.  (And thank you, Shari, for inspiring me.  I love you so very much!)

Owl
Supplies:
Hero Arts stamps (owl, cupcake, birthday greeting)
Hand-drawn hat
Other: colored pencils, gamsol and pom-pom

Now it is time for that giveaway.  I personally have been so addicted to small paper pads, like the 6x6 Basic Grey ones and the 8x8 Cosmo Cricket ones.  So, I thought I would giveaway one of these goodies.  Just leave a comment here by Wednesday at 11:59pmEDT telling me your current favorite paper line/company and I will pick a random winner of this great and happy paper pad...

What a great prize! Right now I am loving My Minds Eye - I actually bought a bunch of their paper slabs from hobby lobby. I know they aren't the heavier weight paper, but I don't mind not having the bulk, and the designs are so dreamy.

That is one super cute card :) The pompom just makes his hat too. I find small paper packs are great for card making too. Haven't seen those Cosmo Cricket ones here though ... they look lovely.

Basic Grey by far is the best!!! I'm really liking the Close to My Heart paper lines lately too.

Thanks!

I love K & Company.

Thanks for a chance to win and have a great day.

I am really drawn to everything "Pink Paisley" these days.

You must be reading my mind! It would be a tie between Basic Grey & Cosmo Cricket. I love CC's Christmas line this year, but I just got Offbeat, and it was fab!

I think right now October Afternoon is ranking pretty high on my list. I love the boldness of their current lines and can't wait for my LSS to get their shipment this week! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Most of my recent Christmas cards have used paper from the 8x8 Making Memories Falala pack...and I love that I can get coordinating embellies to go with. Also like Basic Grey lines.

I have to agree those little paper pads are so handy. Basic Grey is the only one I've ever had. But there's not much left b/c it's so great for cards and mini album pages!! Thanks for all your great ideas - just popped in to find out some more about those gorgeous little gift bag covers from a couple of days ago.

Wow - super cute card!

I am drawn to Basic Grey again and again. There's just something about their colors and designs that "call" to me. However, I'm so intimidated by their beauty, I'm afraid to do anything with them. So, I'm a collector for now. I also have the most adorable chip album from them...still in the package~~I'm such a chicken!

MM 5th Avenue has been finding its way into a lot of my projects lately. It's sort of a departure from my usual style, but I've enjoyed working with the line this fall!

I have always loved the K & Co. pads. I think I have almost all of them!!

I love how you have a punch-out circle that isn't the focus of the card! I haven't even really started to use them yet but I have a fascination with the coredinations line of cardstock right now!

Doodlebug! Love it!

I love Cosmo Cricket right now.

Andrea J

Right now I am totally loving Sassafrass Lass, although, I need to actually get some in my hands! LOL! I am a HUGE CC fan! They are always in my top three!

Smaller paper pads are wonderful!! Such a fun giveaway!!

I have a lot of 'favorite' papers!! Right now my favorites are 'most' of the Basic Greys!!! LOL!!! It's hard to pick a favorite!

I am really enjoying sassafras lass papers lately, the last few releases have just been so cute and adorable.

Lately, I'm really liking everything by Doodlebug Designs :)

I also love the small paper pads; my current
favorites are SEI dill blossom, Basic Grey
and Memory Box.

Stampin Up is my favorite for solid colors.
I guess for most of my prints and some of the colors I really don't look at the company name just whatever works for my project.

I love Basic Grey's 6x6 paper pads! They're perfect for quick card-making projects. I love how all of their colors coordinate!

I'm loving Fancy Pants The Daily Grind line, I also like a lot of stuff from Pink Paislee, Basic Grey and Crate Paper.

Making Memories has always been one of my favorites.
Thanks for another great giveaway!

I love Bassill cardstock. Love Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas line.

My local scrapbook store carries the Basic Grey 6x6 so that is what I buy most and I love them!! Happy Holidays and thanks!!

i love all things ki. i'm also taking a liking to basic grey a little more. their paper has always been gorgeous, but it used to scare me. it was so pretty i didn't want to mess it up.

My favorite paper line is Basic Grey.

I just have to order each new Basic Gray and PTI paper pad! I've been eyeing this Hello Sunshine line, too! Thanks for a chance to win!

Scenic Route keeps popping up lately in my projects.

I am a total Basic Grey addict - please don't ask me to pick a favourite line though! I've had loads of fun creating Christmas cards with the Wassail range. I love some of the old stuff (Blush, Perhaps) and the new stuff is divine too (esp. Amrosia, Offbeat, Urban Prarie). And it's not just the paper, but the fab co-ordinating brads & stamps & buttons & chipboard & stickers... BG rocks!

I've never found an SEI paper pack I don't like. Basic Grey is another awesome line that I seem to end up buying a lot.
