A Muse Birthday Blog Hop! And giveaway...

Welcome to the A Muse Birthday Blog Hop!

Bloghop

A Muse is turning 9 this year!  I love hearing of companies that have been around in the industry so long... who have good people and make great products.  A Muse is a favorite of mine, so I was honored when they asked me to hop along with them.  Thanks, A Muse.

I love the new release from A Muse called Everything's Rosy.  So classic.  Here is one card I made.  It also uses their tiny gingham patterned papers - something I have mentioned loving before.  Every color is gorgeous - you can see the multi-pack HERE.

050310 Amuse 2 JenMcGuire
Supplies: A Muse Stamps (Marigold, Solid Marigold, Merci) and papers and notecard; Distress Inks; American Craft button; String

I decided to do one more.  Wanted to do a more vintage-look... at least a bit vintagey. :)  I stamped the flowers with Versamark Ink on the pink gingham paper and clear embossed.  Then I applied lots of Vintage Photo Distress Ink for a resist.  I also like the border stamp used as a "frame" for the stamped piece.

And remember how I said that the A Muse people are wonderful?  To prove that, they said I could give away some of their goodies.  Woohoo!  So, just leave a comment here on this post by Sunday, May 9, at 11:59pmEST and they will pick a winner of these two stamps...

Sandra :-)

These cards are stunning and I love the gingham paper. I have to get some of that!

Such bold use of color!!! Wowzers!!

I love both cards you made with those flower flower stamps. They are amazing.

Gingham and flowers! What could be more perfect! Love both of these, and I must try your idea of stamping a solid image stamp in versamark over a printed paper, then sponging the details in a distress ink.....love that idea!! Off to play! These are beautiful stamps; thanks for the chance to win them.

I absolutely LOVE the layered flower on the first card. Did you use little foam dots to pop them up? And how did you get the tips of the flowers a little darker then the part more towards the middle? Sorry for so many questions!
